Radial inflow turbo expanders have become the prime choice for energy recovery in general and especially for geothermal power plants utilizing Binary Cycle technology.

By utilizing variable inlet guide vanes, our radial inflow turboexpanders can achieve isentropic efficiencies of up to 90% with pressure ratios up to 10:1 in a single stage. The results are availability factors of 99% in Binary Cycle power plants.
