Standards & Compliance
• In EU and EFTA countries, Atlas Copco Gas and Process machines comply with the European Machinery Directive 98-37-EC (and from 29.12.2009 on with 2006-42-EC) and its amendments. Declaration of conformity and CE mark are provided on the machines.

• Atlas Copco Gas and Process has been an ISO 9001 company since 1991, certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).

• Since 1999 the company's Occupational Health and Safety Management System has been approved by LRQA for OHSAS 18001 certification in the design, servicing and manufacturing of gas compressors.

• Atlas Copco Energas was also approved by LRQA against the SHE Checklist Contractors (SCC) standard for the commissioning, installation supervision and maintenance of gas and process compressors in 1999.

Quality Control Procedure
• Every machine and part at GAP has a Quality Control (QC) plan.
• Quality Control plans are devised, and QC activities are devised and prepared for customer orders.
• The QC personnel have the necessary training and certification for NDT and other inspections.
• Quality equipment is used for inspections/tests, and it is calibrated according to the relevant rules and standards.
• Components used from sub-contractors are verified and traceable to their origin.
• All major components (e.g., impellers, pinion shafts, casings) are serialized for tracking.
• Customers can access the quality documentation of finished orders, which is kept in the QC archive for a minimum of 17 years.
