The H-Series redefines reliable oil-free operation
H-Series centrifugal compressors are the culmination of more than 100 years of Atlas Copco experience in air compression. In the air separation, processing, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, utility and mining industries, the H-Series has earned wide acceptance for efficient, dependable, and cost-effective operation.
Powering reliable operations
H-Series compressors are uniquely capable of meeting short lead times, high reliability, maximum uptime, ease of operation and maintenance, and a fast return on investment as a standard package. Some industries have additional requirements, such as compliance with the API specifications (American Petroleum Institute), or specific testing and documentation, which the H-Series fulfils.
These compressors handle flows ranges of 5.000 - 45.000 m³/hr. Inlet pressure is atmospheric pressure and discharge pressure is up to 30 bar. HA single stage H compressors flow 5.000 - 85.000 m³/hr. Inlet pressure is atmospheric pressure and discharge pressure is up to 3 bar.
Relying on proven design
The major components of each H-Series compressor package- the aerodynamic section, interstage coolers, integral gearing, lubrication system and operating controls- have been engineered to deliver reliable performance.
Critical components such as impellers, casings, guide vanes, shaft seals, gears and bearings are manufactured from field-tested, proven designs to provide a high level of aerodynamic performance and mechanical reliability usually found only in more expensive turbomachinery.
The design of the H-Series was driven by customer demand for a compact, reliable, highly efficient compressor package to meet their high volume air compressor applications.
