One primary – and growing – midstream area where Atlas Copco Gas and Process offers decades of experience and expertise is Liquefied Natural Gas, LNG in short. LNG is natural gas that has been condensed into liquid for storage and transportation purposes (e.g., on LNG vessels, but also onshore).
LNG Transportation (conventional and reliquefaction) – Refrigeration of natural gas (condensing gas into liquid form) for onshore or offshore transportation; reliquefaction of Boil-Off Gas aboard LNG vessels.
LNG Onshore (conventional) – A typical application in this market segment is the onshore storage of Liquefied Natural Gas.
Gas Storage – Gas not needed for immediate use can be retrieved from pipelines, compressed, and then stored. |
