In engineering our centrifugal gas compressors, we are constantly looking for ways to maximize our customers’ productivity. Atlas Copco Gas and Process gas compressors serve a variety of markets including air separation, hydrocarbon business (upstream, midstream, and downstream applications), mechanical vapor compression and wastewater oxygen compression.

Certain gas compressor designs feature multi-staging (up to 8 stages), allowing our compressors to handle combined processes in one cycle and providing a vast flow range. Our gas compressors can handle flows ranging from 500-200,000 m³/h with the ability to achieve pressures up to 80 bar through multi-staging.

Among the many areas of hydrocarbon business Atlas Copco Gas and Process serves, our machines are also used as natural gas compressors in the liquefaction of natural gas. Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is a cornerstone commodity in hydrocarbon business, and our gas compressors streamline LNG productivity for customers worldwide.
