Atlas Copco Gas and Process provides turbomachinery and cryogenic pumps to customers throughout the world, and has manufacturing plants in Germany, the U.S., and China that place us close to our international customer base.

Atlas Copco Gas and Process’ headquarters are located in Cologne, Germany, which is also home to the division’s European production facility and a modern, world-class testing center.

Our production facility in Voorheesville, New York, specializes in centrifugal compressors for a wide range of industries, such as industrial gases and oil and gas.

A second U.S. production facility in Santa Maria, California manufactures customized hydrocarbon turboexpanders and expander generators, which are used both in the oil and gas industry and in geothermal and energy-recovery applications.

In 2011, our U.S. facilities were joined by Atlas Copco JC Carter Pumps in Costa Mesa, California, which produces the most efficient cryogenic submerged motor pumps on the market. Its pumps are used throughout the entire oil and gas value chain.

A manufacturing and packaging facility in Shanghai, China, places Atlas Copco Gas and Process on the doorstep of one of the world’s key growth markets and allows us to reach customers throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Finally, our packaging facility and application center in Pune, India, develops air and gas compression solutions for a wide range of industries in the country.
